1. About these Terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to the Royal Tigers Sports Club (“RTSC”,
“the Club”, “we”, “us” or “our”) website at
royaltigerssportsclub.com,
the RTSC mobile application, and any connected online service operated by or on behalf
of the Club (together, the “Services”).
These Terms are intended to provide clear rules for using the Services. They do not
replace the Club’s constitution, safeguarding rules, competition regulations, codes of
conduct, team-selection rules or any separate written agreement that applies to a
particular membership, event, programme or transaction.
2. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using the Services, creating an account, submitting a form, registering
for an activity, making a payment or using a member feature, you agree to these Terms.
Where you use the Services for a child or another person, you confirm that you have
authority to do so.
Please do not use the Services if you do not agree to these Terms.
3. Eligibility, registration and accounts
- You must provide accurate, current and complete information.
- You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details confidential.
- You must not share an account where access is intended to be personal.
- You must notify the Club promptly if you believe an account has been misused.
- We may request reasonable evidence to verify identity, age, parental responsibility, eligibility or membership status.
Access to private areas may depend on approval by an authorised RTSC administrator and
may be limited according to role, such as player, parent or guardian, captain, coach,
committee member or administrator.
4. Club services and information
The Services may provide fixtures, results, live scores, livestreams, replays, team
selections, player profiles, availability forms, attendance records, membership
information, payment tools, news, notices, documents, registrations, awards, photographs,
videos and other club content.
We aim to keep information accurate and current, but sports data may be supplied by
leagues, governing bodies, Play-Cricket, YouTube, volunteers, officials or other
third parties. Delays, corrections and discrepancies can occur. Official league,
governing-body or match-official records take priority where there is a conflict.
5. Memberships, registrations, fees and payments
Membership, registration, event and match fees are subject to the prices, eligibility
conditions and payment deadlines shown at the time of application or communicated by
the Club.
- Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance or team selection.
- Membership may require committee approval and compliance with Club rules.
- Payment processing may be provided by an independent payment provider.
- Any refund, credit or cancellation will be considered under the applicable Club policy, event terms and your statutory rights.
- Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK consumer law.
Do not send card numbers, banking passwords or other sensitive payment credentials to
the Club by email, chat or ordinary form fields.
6. Fixtures, results, livestreams and media
Fixtures, venues, start times, squads, officials, results and livestream availability
may change at short notice because of weather, safety, pitch conditions, competition
decisions, technical faults or other circumstances outside the Club’s control.
A livestream or replay may be unavailable, delayed, interrupted, muted, removed or
restricted by YouTube, a rights owner, a league, a venue or a technical provider.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, access to a stream does not create a guarantee that
every match will be broadcast.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use the Services to:
- break any law or infringe another person’s rights;
- harass, threaten, abuse, discriminate against or impersonate anyone;
- publish defamatory, obscene, hateful or deliberately misleading content;
- interfere with security, accounts, servers, databases, APIs or normal operation;
- introduce malware, attempt unauthorised access, scrape restricted data or bypass access controls;
- use player, child, member or contact information for unauthorised marketing or profiling;
- copy or commercially exploit Club content without permission.
8. Children, youth participation and safeguarding
Youth and junior features must be used consistently with the Club’s safeguarding
procedures. A parent, guardian or authorised adult may be required to provide consent,
complete registrations or manage information for a child.
Users must not use the Services to contact a child inappropriately, obtain unnecessary
personal information, share private safeguarding information, or publish a child’s
sensitive information without proper authority.
Safeguarding concerns should be reported directly to the Club through the appropriate
safeguarding channel and should not be posted publicly.
9. Content submitted by users
You remain responsible for information, photographs, videos, comments and other material
you submit. You confirm that you have the right and, where necessary, the consent to
provide it.
By submitting content for publication, you give RTSC a non-exclusive, royalty-free
permission to store, reproduce, edit for formatting, and display that content for
legitimate Club purposes, including team administration, reports, promotion and
historical records. You may ask us to review or remove content, subject to legal,
safeguarding, record-keeping and legitimate Club requirements.
We may remove or restrict content that breaches these Terms, Club rules, safeguarding
standards or applicable law.
10. Third-party services and links
The Services may link to or use third-party platforms such as Firebase, Google, YouTube,
Play-Cricket, mapping providers, weather providers, social networks and payment
processors. Their own terms, privacy notices and availability rules may apply.
RTSC is not responsible for the content, security or operation of a third-party service
that it does not control. A link does not necessarily mean that the Club endorses every
statement, product or service on that platform.
11. Service availability and updates
We may update, correct, suspend, withdraw or change any part of the Services. We do not
promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Planned maintenance, emergencies,
network failures, provider outages and security measures may affect availability.
Users should keep the mobile application updated where a newer version is required for
security, compatibility or correct operation.
12. Responsibility and limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so,
including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or
fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to the paragraph above, RTSC is not responsible for losses that were not
reasonably foreseeable, losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control,
or business losses arising from personal use of the Services.
The Services are an information and administration tool. They are not a substitute for
official match instructions, emergency services, medical advice, safeguarding reporting
or direct confirmation from an authorised Club official.
13. Privacy and data protection
Our handling of personal information is explained in the RTSC Privacy Policy. Please read
it together with these Terms:
royaltigerssportsclub.com/privacy-policy.html.
You should only provide personal information that is necessary and accurate. Private
member or child information must not be copied, shared or used outside its authorised
Club purpose.
14. Suspension, restriction and termination
We may restrict, suspend or close access where reasonably necessary to protect users,
children, the Club, its systems or third parties; investigate misuse; comply with law;
enforce Club rules; or respond to non-payment or loss of eligibility.
You may stop using the Services at any time. Account-deletion and data requests can be
submitted through available in-app controls or by contacting the Club. Some information
may need to be retained for legal, safeguarding, financial, insurance, disciplinary or
legitimate record-keeping purposes.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Services, Club operations, law,
regulation, providers or security requirements. The latest version will be published on
this page with an updated date. Material changes may also be communicated through the
app, website or another appropriate channel.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and
Wales will generally have jurisdiction, although a consumer resident elsewhere in the
United Kingdom may also have rights to bring proceedings in their local courts.
Please contact us first so that we have a reasonable opportunity to resolve any concern
informally.
